Our first visit to this part of Wales. We couldn’t believe the area so beautiful, the people so friendly and the roads so quiet. Let’s keep it a secret!
JB, Tring, Herts (July 1999)

We’ve had a wonderful week. Lovely cottage and setting with tremendous views ~ our only regret is that we couldn’t stay for a longer period of time.
CC, Schermbeck, Germany (July 2000)

We would like to buy the cottage and stay for ever ~ it’s really that good. A very quiet and peaceful location.
G&RW, Ebbw Vale, Gwent (August 2000)

Easter bunnies tried to burrow into the cottage! It's no wonder as it's been a lovely place to spend a week.
R&DL, Woking (Easter 2001)

Excellent cottage, one of the best we've stayed in. It was difficult to get the boys out of the games room!
A&LP, Liverpool (June 2001)

If we were fortunate enough to run a similar enterprise we would aspire to the standards set by our hosts. The cottage was beautifully clean and well equipped and the hosts warm and welcoming.
P&RN, Portsmouth (May 2002)

Idyllic surroundings - wonderful wildlife and best of all no traffic noise. The wild flowers were wonderful.

V&GO, Maltby, Yorks (June 2002)

The cottage was fantastic beyond belief, peaceful and relaxing. Just what the doctor ordered. With two children the games room is heaven sent!
SH, Coventry, (August 2002)

This is one of the best equipped cottages we have stayed in and amid such beautiful countryside. You have put a lot of thought into providing well for your guests.
J&GD, Enfield (July 2003)

Our first visit to the area for nearly 30 years and not a lot has changed!! Swallow Cottage has been just perfect in every way. No matter how much you try to describe what the cottage has to offer in the brochure and on the internet it is still nice to find it has so much more than you could expect.
ME, Worthing (Christmas 2003)

We did the Preseli Ridge Walk in 6 hours and still managed a nightly ‘ping-pong’ challenge! We have wanted for nothing and the views have been a joy to wake up to. Hope to be back soon.
G&LD, Northolt (April 2004)

The Welsh tea on arrival was a really nice touch. Will be recommending Swallow Cottage to our family and friends.
W Family, Poynton (August 2004)

Our first visit to Swallow Cottage. Thoroughly enjoyed our week here. The cottage was spotless and every last detail catered for.
KG, Liverpool (June 2005)

Wonderful wildlife. Spent half an hour watching a Great Spotted Woodpecker right outside the sitting room window. Gorgeous surrounding countryside and a lovely cosy cottage. CB, Ludlow (October 2005)

Glorious weather, sunshine dawn to dusk which ruined the fishing but made the holiday! Looking forward to our next visit.

A&BH, P&MC, Gloucs & Devon (June 2006)

We cannot believe we have returned to the same place 5 times!
P&RF, Basildon (September 2006)

We have thoroughly enjoyed our visit to Swallow Cottage, comfortable and relaxing, a 'haven' in a busy world. Glorious days of sunshine.
J&MW, Reading (April 2007)

Spent an entire evening in the new summerhouse watching bats swooping over the pond catching insects!
C&BC, Leics (Sept 2007)

The Games Room was much appreciated by us all, especially the children, and gave us opportunities to spend time relaxing as a family and enjoying each other's company. You have a lovely place in a beautiful setting. How wonderful to wake up to those surroundings every morning.
R family, Surrey (May 2008)

Swallow Cottage and the surrounding areas are just so wonderful and peaceful. We have seen a number of red kites, a variety of other small birds and watched an owl hunting in a field off the back lane. The scenery and coast are spectacular.
D&PR, Northants (June 2008)

We have had the best time. The cottage is so well thought out and organised; the games room is a small and not so small persons heaven! We have also enjoyed the setting, quiet, peace and views.
P Family, Hampshire (October 2008)

Our second visit to Swallow Cottage, we had such fun last year the children asked to come again.

Spent wonderful two weeks with you. After a very warm welcome we enjoyed the fantastic landscape and the warm hearted people of Wales made us feel at home here.

The views from the cottage are spectacular and watching the sunset from the cottage was a high point of the holiday.

I loved the games room. I loved the big secret garden with the large pond. I loved my bedroom with the pink walls. I loved snooker and table tennis. I loved the field. I loved walking Harry in the field.
PN, Bristol (aged 6)   (May 2011)

We love this part of Wales, it's so beautiful. Lovely cottage. High point for the holiday was New Quay's dolphin display from the harbour wall. Sitting in the evening sun by the summerhouse was a treat. It has been a very special holiday.
J & I, Warwickshire & Amsterdam  (June 2011)

We have loved our stay at Swallow Cottage, it's definitely the best we have stayed at in the UK.  It was very clean and well equipped and the welcome tray on arrival was much appreciated.

F Family, Cheshire  (Aug 2011)

We had a lovely week at Swallow Cottage.  Weather wasn't up to much so the games room was excellent for the cold winter evenings.  We had a really lovely time in this cottage.
